Adidas and Pharrell Williams teamed up for a collaboration that challenged tennis’ rigid dress code. To launch a collection with such a subversive intention, we took one of tennis’ biggest traditions and flipped it on its head. During the US Open, while the umpires where urging the crowds to be “quiet please”, we took to the streets and invited New York to speak up.

Umpire chairs placed all over the city were transformed into stages for people to speak up. Artists like Action Bronson, Young MA and Desiigner set the tone, and New Yorkers followed suit, using our chairs and the campaign hashtag to make their voices heard.
