ADIDAS
Play Under the Oceans

To coincide with Roland-Garros and the global "Run For The Oceans" initiative, we aimed to engage tennis fans in the fight against plastic pollution. We transformed a Parisian rooftop into a stunning immersive experience: a tennis court perched atop a Haussmannian building, reimagined as an underwater world. Through large-scale projection mapping and spatial sound design, we created an educational "oceanic" arena where professional athletes and local students could connect with marine biology and the brand’s commitment to ending plastic waste.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Graphic Designer supporting the creative lead and production team, I focused on the visual execution and brand consistency across the following touchpoints:

  • Asset Production: Developed high-fidelity 2D graphics and layouts used within the immersive projection environment.

  • Social & Digital Support: Crafted visual assets for social media kits used by professional athletes (such as Tsitsipas and Tsonga) to promote the event to their followers.

  • On-Site Collateral: Assisted in the design of educational signage and environmental graphics

  • Brand Alignment: Ensured all localized French campaign materials strictly adhered to adidas’s global "End Plastic Waste" visual identity and guidelines.

IMPACT

  • Scale: Successfully reached thousands of participants and local schools through a first-of-its-kind rooftop activation in Paris.

  • Engagement: Supported a campaign that generated massive media coverage and social reach via global tennis stars.

  • Brand Sentiment: Strengthened adidas’s position as a leader in sustainability by merging high-performance sport with environmental education.

  • Creative Success: Contributed to a project that effectively bypassed traditional tournament partnership boundaries by creating a unique, "unmissable" brand moment.
